SETDA Announces Carol Mosley as Recipient of the 2025 Candice Dodson Influencer Award

November 20, 2025 (Washington, DC) – SETDA proudly announces Carol Mosley, IT State Director for the State of Louisiana’s Division of Administration, Office of Technology Services, as the recipient of the 2025 Candice Dodson Influencer (CDI) Award. The award was announced during SETDA’s 2025 Leadership Summit & Ed Forum.

The CDI Award commemorates the values, professional influence, and personal contributions to educational technology that Candice Dodson championed every day. It recognizes leaders who embody those same qualities and continue her legacy of advancing innovation, equity, and meaningful impact in education.

Carol Mosley’s distinguished career has been dedicated to bridging technology and education for Louisiana’s students. She has served as Louisiana K‑12 E‑Rate Director and IT Technical Support Supervisor at the Louisiana Department of Education, consistently working to ensure schools across the state have access to the infrastructure, tools, and support needed to empower learning.

“Carol’s leadership has been instrumental in connecting technology with education—from her fearless E-Rate advocacy to her unwavering support of schools statewide,” said Julia Fallon, Executive Director of SETDA. “Her commitment to access and equity reflects the heart of the Candice Dodson Influencer Award, and we are honored to uplift her legacy and lasting contributions to the SETDA community.”

The Candice Dodson Influencer Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership, influence, and dedication to advancing educational technology. Carol Mosley joins a distinguished group of leaders who carry forward Candice’s legacy of innovation, collaboration, and service.
