SETDA Names 2022 State Achievement Award Recipients
June 7, 2022 (Washington, DC) – The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) created the State Achievement Award to recognize outstanding initiatives from SETDA state and affiliate members and their teams that address meaningful challenges in teaching and learning.
These awards, which were presented during the 2022 SETDA Emerging Trends Forum on June 6, 2021, celebrate the impact of these programs and projects, offering frameworks for other leaders to effect positive change in their states.
The SETDA State Achievement Awards have five categories that align with SETDA’s priorities of Equity of Access, Digital Content, Interoperability, Professional Learning, and Digital Learning. The state teams for the 2022 SETDA State Achievement Awards are as follows:
- The State Achievement Award for the Interoperability category was awarded to South Carolina: Leveraging Multiple Interoperability Standards to Support Educators
- The State Achievement Award for the Equity of Access category was awarded to Connecticut: Everybody Learns Initiative – Closing the Digital Divide
- The State Achievement Award for the Digital Learning category was awarded to Massachusetts: Sustaining Progress in Access and Equity: EdTech Strategic Planning Guide
- The State Achievement Award for the Professional Learning category was awarded to Arkansas: ArkansasIDEAS
