SETDA Names Muzology Winner of the 2021 Emerging Partners EdTech Demo Day

June 16, 2021 (Washington, D.C.) – On June 11, 2021 the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) named Nashville-based startup, Muzology, the winner of its ninth annual cohort of Emerging Private Sector Partners program. The five EdTech startups—Mote, Paper Learning, Killer Snails, Future Genius, Muzology—who participated in the SETDA Demo Day, known as SETDA Tank, were selected through a competitive application process and were announced during SETDA’s virtual Emerging Trends Forum. All the startups participating in the Emerging Partners benefit from engagement with SETDA’s state leaders, affiliates, and annual partners.

Muzology is a digital learning system that uses music videos to make learning math fast, fun, and easy. Developed by learning specialists, subject matter experts, and hit songwriters, Muzology’s math music videos are academically sound and highly engaging. Videos get students algebra ready by covering foundational math topics that are mapped to standards.

Muzology marked the achievement with a Tweet, “Thank you! So honored!!! What a great cohort and competition!”

The SETDA cohort of EdTech startups will help state leaders understand the newest EdTech innovations in ways that directly support our mission to improve education through technology policy and practice. The SETDA’s Emerging Partners Program is also designed to foster opportunities for startups to be seen and heard by state and national digital learning leaders.
