SETDA’s Digital Learning Leaders Will Launch the Seventh Annual Cohort of Emerging Partners this June During Their Emerging Technologies Leadership Forum in Anaheim.

Applications due by April 1, 2020

February 24, 2020 (Washington, D.C.) Applications are now open for educational technology startups who wish to join The State Educational Technology Directors Association’s (SETDA) Emerging Private Sector Partnership Program. This public-private partnership program is tailored specifically for companies new to the U.S. K-12 education and technology market. SETDA is the principal non-profit membership association representing U.S. state and territorial educational digital learning leaders.

The 2020 Emerging Partners Program application is here: 2020 Application or at https://form.jotform.com/200493953955162

Companies selected to participate in this program will benefit from a variety of opportunities to showcase their products and services at the upcoming 2020 SETDA Emerging Technologies Leadership Forum in Anaheim, CA, June 26-27, 2020. Finalists will receive professional development from SETDA’s Channel Partners including feedback and advice on their business plans, and a weekend filled with opportunities for engaging in meaningful dialogue with state educational technology and industry leaders. The list of SETDA’s current Emerging Partners can be found here https://www.setda.org/partners/private-sector/current/.

The Emerging Private Sector Partner Program at SETDA is an exceptional opportunity for companies to engage with state and national leaders in a true partnership that benefits both groups. State and national leaders can provide valuable insights and access to companies to help shape their educational products, both in terms of quality and alignment with each state’s education goals and needs,” said Candice Dodson, executive director of SETDA. “For our SETDA members, having the Emerging Partners share edtech innovations new to the market both increases our knowledge and bolsters capacity to support cutting-edge innovation in digital-age teaching and learning.”

In order to be considered for the partnership and receive program benefits, companies must submit an application, and if selected, pay a participation fee. More information about the Emerging Private Sector Partners Program is available at https://www.setda.org/partners/private-sector/emerging/ or by contacting Melissa Greene, Director of Strategic Partnerships at [email protected] or 202-715-6636 ext. 703.
