Gurnee School District 56 utilized an E-Learning Day on February 9, 2018. This document represents the feedback report as required through the pilot acceptance contract. What is an eLearning Day?
eLearning Days provide school districts with an option for continuing an instructional day away from traditional time limits and brick and mortar setting.
This guidance is provided as a resource to support implementation of the eLearning Day Program. Although this document was originally prepared to assist schools in planning for students with significant disabilities, the suggestions in this document can be applied when planning for all students with disabilities.
The district’s plan shall indicate how the nontraditional instruction process shall be a continuation of learning that is occurring on regular student attendance days. Instructional delivery methods, including the use of technology, shall be clearly delineated in the plan.
