SETDA Unveils New Logo and Branding

Washington, DC (June 17, 2013) – SETDA is pleased to announce its newly designed logo and branding to be unveiled at the 2013 SETDA Emerging Technologies Forum (June 21-24 in San Antonio), adjacent to the ISTE 2013 Conference. The association’s recently adopted strategic plan called for a refreshed logo and branding, which will be integrated into all new SETDA products and services in the coming months.

The new logo reflects the heritage of the association, while better representing its current and future distinctive identity, energy, and direction. The star element is carried forward from prior logos in the form of a ‘swoosh,’ providing movement and energy and expressing the association’s forward-thinking and future-facing position and vision. The tagline – leadership, technology, innovation, learning – better conveys the core elements of SETDA values and work. And, in addition to enhancing readability, the updated colors and typeface are cleanly bold and contemporary.

“The unveiling of a new logo marks an exciting step in the continuing evolution of SETDA,” said Doug Levin, SETDA executive director. “It represents our past, our vision for the future, and who we are as an association.”

Winter Group provided the strategic communications and creative services behind the new logo and branding.
