The SETDA-IIA Collaborative was created to enable a national conversation and support around Title II, Part A. The group meets online weekly to review ESSA law, respond to proposed regulations, discuss allowable state and district activities, and share ideas and draft plans. Through the organizational efforts of State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA), Title IIA Coordinators who are also long-time SETDA members formed the SETDA II-A Collaborative.

What is the SETDA – Title IIA Collaborative? In February 2016, SETDA launched the SETDA-Title IIA Collaborative to provide an opportunity for Title IIA leaders to connect with one another regarding ESSA. The group shares ideas, state plans and addresses ESEA issues related to Title IIA and submits comments/questions to ED. This group is led by SETDA staff and long time SETDA members that are also Title IIA contacts from Alaska, Delaware and New Jersey. Over 30 states are participating however, your state has not been included because we do not have a contact and there are no additional SETDA membership fees for participating in this group.
Registration Fees Each SETDA member state is eligible to have two members attend the event with no registration fee. States with three or more attendees will have a $295 registration fee for each additional attendee. Please note: Title IIA attendees are included in the number of state attendees regarding registration fees so state leaders should coordinate with one another regarding attendance and registration. In addition, any Title IIA that are ONLY attending the October 19 event will be required to pay the full $295 registration fee.
