USDOE Meeting Description

The purpose of the meeting with State Educational Technology Directors and program coordinators along with Department staff is to discuss and address Title II D program related issues and concerns, answer questions, and provide FY 2008 program updates. This meeting serves as opportunity for the Federal Program Office to have a face-to-face meeting and discussion with grantees, and provide on-site technical assistance. The meeting will also provide States an opportunity to inform the Department as well as other participating States of FY 2008 program plans and activities.

Topics covered during the meeting will include compliance issues, update on reporting requirements, improving communications, program evaluation (NETTS), and building stronger working relationships. The Program Office expects that grantees will provide input and feedback to the Department on ways that it can improve customer service and technical assistance during the upcoming grant year.
