State Broadband Networks

The list below provides links to multiple state broadband networks. The organization and funding structure of each state network is different. For example, some states plan, build and manage their state networks through partnerships with higher education, other states contract the management of their state networks to private companies and in some states the state network is actually a partnership of regional units and school districts which may or may not be coordinated by the state. In addition, several states are in the process of building statewide broadband networks with the support of federal and state funds however, those networks have not been completed.
