SETDA is a National Outreach partner with Project Tomorrow on the national research project Speak Up, which polls and shares the views of students, parents and educators about key issues related to the use of technology for learning. Schools and districts use the suite of online surveys and reports to conduct needs assessments, inform strategic plans and budgets, or measure the success of their initiatives. In addition, across the country our members are using the Speak Up data to identify specific technology needs in their state, track the success of their grant programs or inform their state legislators. Speak Up is a valuable resource for capturing the issues that are important to your stakeholders and we encourage you to promote participation in your state.
Speak Up 2011 opened Monday, October 10, 2011. Join the local, state and national discussion about K-12 education through the Speak Up online survey. SETDA is proud to be a National Outreach partner with Speak Up. As a result of everyone’s hard work this past year, over 380,000 K-12 students, educators and parents participated in the Speak Up 2010 survey. The 2010 school/district reports are now available at http://www.tomorrow.org/speakup/speakup_reports.html.
