K12 iTunes U Meeting of States

As we continue to work with developing and implementing digital mobile media we have arranged an opportunity to explore with other states the reasons and options for launching an iTunes U site for your state. It is also an opportunity for state’s with existing iTunes U sites to discuss and share ways of increasing content levels and usage. Apple and RMC Research will be on hand to discuss next steps for moving our consortium forward.

Details of this opportunity, include:

  • Monday, June 28, 2010
  • 11:30am to 2:30pm (Mountain Time)
  • Vail Room, Sheraton Denver Downtown
  • Lunch will be generously provided by Apple, Inc.
  • EVERY STATE IS INVITED!

We are pleased that Jason Ediger, Director, Content and Mobility, Worldwide Education Markets, Apple Inc. will be on hand to answer questions and share the latest iTunes U developments.

Also invited are members of the RMC Research Corporation, one of the program evaluators listed in the “mobile education media” Investing in Innovation (i3) grant submitted on behalf of nine states. RMC Research is interested in assisting a consortium of states to better position a grant application(s) for private foundation support and for anticipated future rounds of Federal grant funding.  States with existing iTunes U sites or states seeking support for launching iTunes U sites will be given priority as part of any grant applications going forward!
