Washington Education Technology Policy Summit
On March 8, 2012, SETDA, CoSN and ISTE will present the ninth installment of the Washington Education Technology Policy Summit. This dynamic Summit will focus on the latest educational technology policy trends, particularly the reauthorization of ESEA, the status of federal education funding, and the latest developments in the E-Rate program. Now is a time of great urgency in the field of education technology programs and for educational technology funding. With states preparing for online common core assessments in 2014 and the federal education budget facing significant cuts, advocating for federal support and leadership in education technology is more vital than ever. We hope you will take advantage of this excellent opportunity to have your voice heard on Capitol Hill. A limited number of travel scholarships are available to SETDA members interested and able to attend.
