  • New Window AHA! interactive, Inc. is a human capital and professional development solutions provider to K-12 organizations. Our mission is to improve the capability of school districts to measure the impact of their investment in professional development and teacher quality on student achievement. AHA!’s focus areas are professional development, competency management, recruiting/retention, and evaluation. AHA's services included: human capital and professional development strategy, IT strategy, change management, and training and support. AHA! Educator, version 2.0  is a flexible, web-based PD management suite including:

  • New Window Campus K12, version 3.5 is state of the art, on-line professional development management system for K12 educators. It includes a learning management system, a performance improvement management system, a content management system and a knowledge management system. The system can mirror the architecture of state wide school districts and includes an e-commerce system. Campus K12 is implemented state wide in Michigan for all its K12 educators. The implementation is called Michigan LearnPort New Window (www.learnport.org). Model implementations are located in Detroit, Michigan, Athens, Georgia and Sarasota, Florida.   • New Window Data-Driven Decision Making (D3M) by MINDS assists educators across the nation with the essential process of data driven decision making, MINDS and data analysis expert Dr. Jim Cox have developed a professional development course, Data-Driven Decision Making (D3M), that includes 23 online streaming video sessions which deal with topics ranging from ''what is important data'' and ''disaggregating data'' to ''focusing on continuous improvement'' and ''working with norm-referenced tests''. Assessments are offered for each module, as well as a downloadable comprehensive resource guide and a certificate of completion. Together, we can Enhance Education Through Interactive Learning! D3M was just released as of October 8, 2004; as a result, we do not currently have information specific to implementation to offer at this time. However, the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) is officially supporting D3M, as it is being distributed through the following partner Educational Service Centers: Tri-County ESC and Mercer County ESC

  • New Window Academic Standards and Alignment System (ASAS) Version 1.6.1 by JES & Co.The Academic Standards and Assessment System (ASAS) is an easy-to-use tool designed especially for K-12 teachers that simplifies finding, describing, aligning, retrieving and sharing teaching resources and assessments. Teachers, schools, districts, and even states use ASAS to organize and link their educational resources and assessments to state and national standards.Free for non-commercial educational use, ASAS features a digital card catalog and easy to use search and retrieval tools. ASAS builds on open standards and can be used as a stand alone full-featured system or easily integrated with classroom and learning management products such as Class Server and SchoolNet. ASAS has been implemented on a state-wide basis in Ohio, Georgia, Massachusetts, and South Carolina and on a district-wide basis in Tucson Unified School District (TUSD), AZ, Cleveland Municipal School District (CMSD), OH, and Houston County School District, GA.   • New Window The eClassroom Program Intelligence Manager will allow schools, Districts, and State-wide K-12 online learning programs to analyze activity data since they began delivering their online programs through the eClassroom platform. This will enable them to identify key variables that will drive program improvement and benchmark themselves against other online programs. This is a set of business intelligence tools that will leverage a new data warehousing architecture, allowing administrators to efficiently analyze course and program data to identify key drivers for program improvement and success. Because the functionality is integrated into eClassroom’s ASP solution, the system has the unique ability to capture and analyze current and historical data. The Program Intelligence Manager will help institutions increase student retention by identifying key drivers to student course completion, including “at-risk” behavior trends as well as “successful” user tracking profiles.
