In October of 2006, SETDA hosted the SETDA Leadership Summit for all members from the 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa and 30-plus ed-tech industry leaders to:

• learn from one another about programs that are working,
• become stronger communicators and facilitators, and
• share information about EETT to policy makers on Capitol Hill
  

SETDA Members and Corporate Sponsors attended various focus group and general sessions presented both by SETDA State Members and SETDA Corporate Sponsors. Session topics included; 8th Grade Tech Literacy, Media Literacy, Virtual Learning, Cyber Security and One to One Initiatives.
