Upon completion of the NLI, the work group recognized a need for important projects to be developed to help states build strong inter- and intra-state partnerships. The Work Group's recommendations are to:

  1. Create a rubric that can be utilized by states to evaluate the quality of a partnership.
  2. Develop a "Partnership Match Database" for the purpose of aligning partnership needs and interests among states and with foundations, corporations and other educational entities.
  3. Survey SETDA members to compile a compendium of partnership case studies.
  4. Collect sample documents, templates and tools from the SETDA membership such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs), solicitation letters, and communication plans.
