Biography: James Beeghley is an IT Policy Specialist in the Bureau of Educational Technology for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Prior to coming to PDE he served as a technology coordinator at the school district level. He is also a doctoral student in instructional technology at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where his research is focused on the uses of technology to teach the Civil War. James has presented on numerous topics including technology planning, copyright, network security, technology audits, and most recently uses of technology to teach the Civil War.
