SETDA released the second paper of the Vision 2020 Action Plan for Education Series “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic (STEM)” report addressing the need to provide all children with an education that includes a solid foundation of rigorous science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) instruction.
Student Engagement Tool On June 30, 2008, SETDA released a free, online resource that helps teachers use technology to engage students more effectively in core subject areas like math, science, social studies and reading. The tool entitled, “Teacher’s and Technology’s Role in Student Engagement” addresses the need for all teachers to use rigorous digital content and new teaching strategies to increase student engagement.
